I am laying my sod myself; how do I lay the sod?
You should lay your sod as soon as possible, especially during very warm weather.
We recommend you have 3-4 inches of loose topsoil to begin. Lay the sod pieces as close as possible.
It is very important to water your sod as you are laying it. Keep the ground moist for at least two weeks to establish the new lawn.
Do not mow your new sod until the roots have grown into the ground completely.
Please see our Lawn Care Section here for more instructions.
